sonic youth doesn’t exist anymore especially since thurston and kim hate each other
Fact: I know nothing about Sonic Youth beyond their song on the Juno soundtrack.
And girls need cold anger. They need the cold simmer, the ceaseless grudge, the talent to avoid forgiveness, the side stepping of compromise. They need to know when they say something that they will never back down, ever, ever.
ugh that sounds really crappy. :/ maybe they’re all sad bc so much of the cast is leaving. and now i’m confused as to why sonic youth’s twitter page keeps talking about snl?
That could be it, really. Sad faces do not make comedy.
Maybe Sonic Youth is in talks for next season appearances? I’m not quite sure what would be up with that, actually. Unless they’re making a random appearance tonight? *gasp*
isn’t sonic youth playing though? is this a bad time to make a joke about things being more ~rugged~? (i like sonic youth a lot, but i mean…)
This week is Ben Affleck and Kanye West. Though Sonic Youth would have been cool!
The promos are just really lackluster. It’s like three guys standing around acting “cool” and I guess that’s funny for about….five seconds.
The Number 1 Best Cold Open Of The Office.
Remember when The Office landed the coveted post-Super Bowl slot? It was a breath of fresh air after several years of hour long dramas (even though Kyle Chandler on Grey’s Anatomy was riveting). Sometimes you just want to laugh after watching your favorite team lose the most coveted game of football. And the show delivered show much comedy in 4 1/2 minutes that it was shocking this was the show that debuted to dismal/hateful reviews nearly five years before.
Unanswered plot question: How long had Angela been storing one of her cats in her filing cabinet?!
Literally my favorite moment from The Office, of all time.
What job can I get that helps me dismantle capitalism but also pays me.
she wears short skirts i wear short skirts
we are sailor soldiers and in the name of the moon we will punish you
I cannot stop laughing every time I read this.
“Do NOT apologize for your sensitivity. It’s not a good or a bad thing. It’s just a thing. It’s what you do with it that makes it good or bad. Simply steer it confidently and you’ll see it do amazing things for you. Call it a weakness and it’ll cause you problems. One other thing, NO ONE will judge you as harshly as you do. The secret is that others are too busy to judge you like that. Most are perfectly okay with you. Realize that and you’ll find the confidence you seek.”
